Street Series engines include: Complete short block assembly and gaskets, plus cylinder head, all rockers/pushrods preset to factory specs, complete top end gasket kit to complete install and ARP Series 2000 head studs or DFC Custom 240k PSI head studs depending on availability
The DFC Diesel Tow/Haul Series engine comes standard with all the upgrades found in the Street Series model as well as several enhancements to make this engine perfect for towing, hauling and performance applications up to 550 HP. This build consists of the following: DFC long block assembly, ARP series 2000 head studs, Ceramic coated piston crowns and dry film coated skirts, HD push rods, Pinned crankshaft gear.
The DFC Diesel Tow/Haul HD Series was built for the enthusiast that wants to be capable of up to 900 HP but that will regularly drive on the street and tow trailers between 500 and 700 HP. This model comes equipped with all the features of the Street and Tow/Haul Series but adds a set of Wagler or Carrillo connecting rods, Fluidamper, HD Flex Plate and balanced rotating assembly. *Engines may come with either rod depending on availability*.
DFC KORE Series engines feature all the same premium components in our regular engine platforms including Total Seal Piston rings, ARP studs where standard on certain platforms and Cometic head gasket sets. In addition to components that do not regularly come installed they specifically DO NOT come assembled with front or rear covers, oils pans and any rocker arms or valve train with the exception of 6.0 Ford Powerstroke. All KORE series come with a 1 year Unlimited mileage Non-Commercial Parts Only warranty, warranty upgrades are not available for this series.

These are the only pistons in the world that pay for themselves with independent testing showing fuel economy improvements between 15-25%+ across all engine applications DFC Diesel remanufactures. You will experience a flatter torque curve with more usable engine power across the RPM band. The engine will have a reduction of exhaust gas temperatures and has shown significant reduction of soot in your oil and NoX levels out of your exhaust. These will help reduce your maintenance costs and extend your engines longevity.
